Estell Manor December 2011 Thanks

The crew today was Kurt W, Bob E, Rick S, Justin S, Jake S and myself. Thanks for the great work and fun times.

We worked on a really washed out turn out on the north end of the park, where we cut nicks and raised the tread. We moved a metric s-ton of dirt, which is slightly less than a f-ton.

The Mower Monkey, Bobby and one huge buck saw made quick work of a half fallen tree near route 50 that was a real flow killer. Not it is a flow killing logover and way more fun.

We saw a huge eagle standing on the log with a squirrel in its talons on the ride out. I think it approved of the work and was a definite highlight of the day.

We met local hiker Paul Q out on the trails, who was super cool and happy to see the work happening. I will be cool to see him at our next session.

Thanks again guys for taking the time out of a busy pre-holiday weekend. I am looking forward to the spring and our next tm day.
