Postby Art White » Tue Sep 23, 2008 5:57 am

Greetings, trail maintainers, builders, and advocates.

The Jersey Off Road Bicycle Association (JORBA) RVCC chapter will be hosting the IMBA Trail Care Crew seminar on October 18-19, 2008. The Classroom portion will be at the Sterling Forest Lautenberg Visitor Center, and the field work portion will take place at Ringwood State Park on Saturday Oct 18.

You are invited to join us for a day of learning about the latest techniques for building and maintaining sustainable trails.

Space for the classroom portion of the seminar is limited, so please register early! Registration is mandatory, and is free and easy to do. You can view the weekend schedule and register online. Just click on the following link... http://go.imba.com/ringwood

If the October 18th date doesn't fit in your schedule, the TCC will be doing the seminar at Washington Valley Park (AKA Chimney Rock) in Somerset County on October 11-12. for registration info check out this site:

This is a special opportunity that should NOT be missed! Come out and take advantage of this experience, which will help improve the future of trails in Northern New Jersey!

Thanks,

Art White / RVCC / JORBA

Just a reminder that Paydirt will be held open until October 19th, and the field work portion of the event will count towards this years Paydirt.

What is Paydirt? Besides giving love back to your favorite park, you can win bikes and get race points, see here: http://www.jorba.org/index.php?page=11

Thanks for the offer to lend a hand at the event, and it is always great to get good feedback on new trails. That is why we do this!!
