Allamuchy Pond Trail Work Day Thanks!

Wow! What happens when a community comes together and you give them mcleods, pulaskis, pruners, trimmers, rakes and a couple of pieces of mechanical equipment...you get over a mile of new trail! Last weekend 26 people come out to volunteer over 200 hours of time to complete the hand work on the Allamuchy Pond Trail. The result is over 1 mile of new trail that is ready for use!!! We wanted to thank to following folks that gave up a part of their weekend to make a difference:

George and Tammy Beckenthal, Michael Ewin, Jay Waldstein, Nelson Maldonado, Juan Espinosa, Bob Zarkowski, Nick Morell, Joe Gabor, Marc Perez, Josh and Own Gang, Kevin Connolly, Paul Weissensee, Leslie McGlynn, Rcih Zipper, Jack Lux, Dan Matthews, Steve Filipponi, Charlie Fineran, Jason Gonsolves, Karen and Bob Workman, Sandy Wolff, Sue Ellen Mikowski, and Anne Estall.

There are a few photos up on the JORBA site now (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1817), and we will be posting up more soon. There is still some buffing of the trial that has to be done to get it 100% done and we have that one little stream crossing to address. That being said, we will not be working this weekend since we are still securing the materials to complete the one stream crossing.

The next work day will be May 21st. Stay tuned for details!

See ya,

Bob and Karen Workman
