The JORBA Paydirt committee would like to thank all volunteers for their dedication and volunteer hours working on the trails in 2011. Heavy snows, rains and a major hurricane in 2011 kept crews quite busy. I am proud to report that most parks were back to normal within a few weeks of hurricane Irene, thanks to JORBA volunteers. Annual Paydirt volunteers logged over 5700 hours on trail work in 2011. 5700 hours of volunteer labor is valued by park managers at $131,100.
